Vibetech Database Exposes 13.7M Records Including Assortment of Old Breaches

An unprotected database associated with Vibetech, an India-based artificial intelligence (AI) software development and IT services firm, exposed 13.7 million records online without authentication. The exposed data contained credentials and sensitive information from earlier data breaches discovered by cybersecurity researcher Jeremiah Fowler.

Why it matters: Organizations using Vibetech services or affected by the prior breaches whose data was stored in this database should verify whether their credentials were exposed and reset passwords immediately.
