AppGate gives OT supervisors live monitoring and session termination controls

AppGate has expanded its zero trust network access (ZTNA) for operational technology (OT) with Session Governance capabilities that enable live monitoring and session termination controls for critical infrastructure operators. The new features allow supervisors to oversee third-party access activity in real time and enforce access policies during active sessions, complementing the initial March 2026 ZTNA for OT release that controlled who could access systems.

Why it matters: Critical infrastructure operators and security teams need these session-level controls to reduce third-party access risk, simplify compliance audits, and maintain operational uptime in environments where access management gaps can have physical consequences.
