vlt 1.5.0 Adds Agent Skills Management

vlt 1.5.0 introduces a skills management command that discovers coding agent instructions bundled with JavaScript packages and links them into directories that artificial intelligence (AI) agents use. The release separates package installation from exposing agent instructions, letting developers select which skills to make available while filtering out packages flagged as malware by Socket security data. The feature ties agent instructions to installed dependency versions and automatically updates them as packages change.

Why it matters: JavaScript developers using AI agents need to manage which package-supplied instructions reach their coding assistants, especially to block malicious packages before they influence agent behavior and to maintain consistency across teams.
