Tenable OPEN for AI connects exposure management with threat detection and incident investigations

Tenable announced Tenable OPEN for artificial intelligence (AI), an ecosystem enabling organizations to connect exposure management data with artificial intelligence (AI) models and tools from partner vendors including SentinelOne, Splunk, Snyk, and others. The platform uses Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors and APIs to allow security teams to build custom AI workflows for tasks like alert triage, threat mapping, and vulnerability correlation without requiring custom software development. Validated use cases are available as documented workflows or ready-to-use skills on the CyberAgents Exchange marketplace.

Why it matters: Security operations teams can now integrate exposure data with their existing AI and security tools to accelerate investigations and prioritize vulnerabilities faster, reducing manual pivoting between platforms and enabling analysts to correlate risk signals across the entire technology stack.
