Swimlane connects custom detections to AI-led investigation and response

Swimlane released new capabilities in its Turbine platform allowing security teams to deploy custom detection logic against large data volumes and route alerts to Swimlane's artificial intelligence (AI) SOC for investigation and response. The October update introduces two-way Model Context Protocol (MCP) support and a Hero AI agent that accepts natural-language prompts to build applications, enabling teams to integrate tools and operationalize workflows.

Why it matters: Security operations center (SOC) teams evaluating detection and response platforms should assess whether custom detection integration and AI-driven investigation accelerate alert triage and reduce manual workload.
