Wordfence Intelligence Weekly WordPress Vulnerability Report (October 19, 2026 to October 25, 2026)
Wordfence disclosed 268 vulnerabilities across 182 WordPress plugins and 15 themes during October 19 to 25, 2026, with 225 vulnerabilities patched and 43 unpatched. Critical issues included unauthenticated remote code execution in Advanced Custom Fields: Extended (CVE-2026-94267, CVE-2026-94268), arbitrary file upload in Prime Mover (CVE-2026-115806), WP Mailster (CVE-2026-111832), and YOOtheme Pro (CVE-2026-102785). The vulnerability landscape was dominated by missing authorization and input neutralization flaws.
Why it matters: WordPress site administrators running vulnerable plugins and themes need to patch immediately, particularly those using Advanced Custom Fields: Extended, Prime Mover, WP Mailster, and YOOtheme Pro which allow unauthenticated attackers to execute code or delete files; practitioners should prioritize patching the 7 critical and 69 high-severity vulnerabilities in this week's batch.
