Limited reports of PHP bug exploitation emerge

Security researchers have identified limited exploitation activity targeting PHP2Shell vulnerabilities, including a suspected Chinese campaign against U.S. government-affiliated servers. One cyber firm documented approximately six instances of the bug being exploited in the wild.

Why it matters: Organizations running vulnerable PHP installations, especially U.S. government agencies and contractors, need to assess exposure to these bugs and prioritize patching given active, targeted exploitation.
