Fireperf: Open-source network testing tool for firewalls and routers
The IPFire project released fireperf, an open-source tool that measures how firewalls and routers handle connection traffic by opening connections at a fixed rate and reporting the device responses. The tool targets administrators, developers, and testers who need to evaluate stateful network devices, filling a gap that existing bandwidth testers like iperf3 do not address.
