GDIT taps AppGate zero trust technology to strengthen federal cyber resilience and secure interagency access

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) expanded its partnership with AppGate to integrate zero trust security capabilities into its Everest solutions for federal agencies. The collaboration addresses four priority areas: secure interagency information sharing, tactical edge operations, operational technology (OT) protection, and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled zero trust to accelerate threat detection and response. GDIT has already deployed AppGate technology across major national security missions, including completing a government red team assessment.

Why it matters: Federal agencies and their mission partners need this capability to control access across distributed environments and protect sensitive data sharing; practitioners should evaluate how zero trust with AI-enabled threat processing fits their agency's interagency collaboration and critical infrastructure defense requirements.
