Infisical Raises $40M to Secure AI Agent Credentials

Infisical closed a $40 million Series B funding round led by Elad Gil at a $600 million valuation. The capital will support development of credential isolation, ephemeral secrets, approval workflows, and agent controls to prevent artificial intelligence (AI) agents from exposing sensitive infrastructure through uncontrolled autonomous operations.

Why it matters: Security teams deploying AI agents need to evaluate secrets management platforms that enforce isolation and approval workflows to reduce the risk of credential exposure and unintended access to critical systems.
