Fake OpenAI, SpaceX events used to steal Microsoft, Google accounts

Attackers are distributing fake event invitations impersonating OpenAI, SpaceX, and Anthropic to conduct phishing campaigns against employees at major tech companies. The attacks leverage phishing-as-a-service platforms to harvest Microsoft and Google credentials and session tokens.

Why it matters: Security teams at tech companies face increased targeting of employees through social engineering; monitor for fraudulent event invitations and reinforce credential security and multifactor authentication (MFA) adoption.
