Beyond Acceleration and Automation: How AI + Intelligence Changes Cyber Defense
Artificial intelligence combined with threat intelligence creates new defensive capabilities by enabling real-time, scaled mapping of adversary tactics and techniques (TTPs) against an organization's actual infrastructure, exposure, and defensive gaps. Traditional AI applications in cybersecurity focus on automation and acceleration of existing workflows, but the convergence of AI reasoning with threat intelligence produces qualitatively different capabilities that begin to address the structural asymmetry between defenders and attackers.
