The number of US internet-connected addresses responding to ATG (Automated Tank Gauge) protocol queries dropped from approximately 4,800 monthly to 2,354 in June, with consistent declines across April, May, and June below historical baselines. The three-month reduction is unusual and represents a significant shift in the exposure landscape for fuel tank gauge infrastructure. The decline persists after accounting for typical network churn and port migration patterns.
