Researchers at Elastic discovered critical vulnerabilities across AJCloud-based IoT cameras sold by multiple vendors including Wansview, Galayou, and Faleemi. By reverse-engineering firmware, exploiting unauthenticated cloud endpoints, and analyzing the proprietary peer-to-peer protocol, attackers can gain unauthorized access to camera feeds, remotely control devices, or permanently disable them through configuration manipulation. The vulnerabilities affect millions of active cameras globally since all AJCloud-connected devices share the same underlying platform and firmware.
