Attackers Breached JetBrains Cadence via Unpatched TeamCity, Extracting AWS Credentials

JetBrains disclosed a breach of its Cadence environment in August 2026 where threat actors exploited a recently disclosed critical vulnerability in TeamCity to gain access. The attackers extracted AWS credentials during the incident. JetBrains is instructing affected users to revoke and rotate all credentials and secrets used in Cadence executions.
