Four in Five AI Tools Run with No IT Oversight, New Research Finds
Research from Reco found that approximately 80% of artificial intelligence (AI) tools operate without information technology (IT) oversight in organizations. The study also documents a rise in vulnerability disclosures related to AI systems. Shadow AI deployments create security and compliance risks that security teams cannot effectively monitor or manage.
