Credential stuffing: What it is and how to protect yourself

Credential stuffing exploits password reuse across multiple accounts after a single breach exposes login credentials. Attackers use these compromised pairs to gain unauthorized access to various services where users have shared the same password.

Why it matters: All practitioners and users are at risk when password reuse enables attackers to compromise multiple accounts from one breach, requiring immediate adoption of unique, strong passwords and multifactor authentication (MFA).
