Risky Bulletin: FCC relaxes foreign router security patch ban
The FCC has modified its foreign router ban to permit security patches. ShinyHunters targeted educational institutions worldwide, and researchers disclosed a 21-year-old remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in FreeBSD. A Linux privilege escalation bug was also revealed without an available patch.
