Nightwing CEO has a Labor Day message for staff - and apparently The Register
Nightwing CEO Bob Coleman accidentally sent a Labor Day message marked for internal use to The Register and other journalists instead of his company's employee distribution list. The cybersecurity and intelligence contractor, spun out of Raytheon in 2024, appears to have selected the wrong mailing list when distributing the message.
Why it matters: Security practitioners at contractor firms handling sensitive national security work should review their email distribution list configurations and approval workflows to prevent unintended disclosure of internal communications.
