SANS Institute signs German government cybersecurity training deal to strengthen national cyber resilience
SANS Institute and Germany's federal defense and security agencies have signed a multi-year training framework agreement to develop cybersecurity professionals across the Bundeswehr and key government organisations including the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA). The agreement covers hands-on training in offensive security, incident response, threat hunting, cloud security, industrial control system (ICS) and operational technology (OT) security, and leadership, delivered through in-person and live online courses with Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) credentials. The partnership aims to strengthen Germany's cyber resilience by building a standardised, internationally recognised workforce to defend critical national security infrastructure.
