BleachBit 6.0.4 fixes secure wiping that skipped clusters on Windows

BleachBit version 6.0.4 addresses a secure wiping flaw on Windows that left fragments of deleted files on disk when they were scattered across noncontiguous clusters. The tool erases caches, browser traces, and files across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms. Prior versions may have failed to completely overwrite sensitive data due to file fragmentation.

Why it matters: Users who relied on earlier BleachBit versions to securely delete sensitive files on Windows should verify complete removal, as file fragments may persist on disk in recoverable form.
