Postman Passport controls API access without exposing credentials

Postman announced general availability of Passport, a standalone application programming interface (API) security product that manages credentials and access controls for both human and non-human identities. The service stores real API credentials within customer environments while providing security teams with full attribution, granular access controls, and rapid revocation capabilities.

Why it matters: API security and identity teams should evaluate Passport for reducing exposed credentials in development and artificial intelligence (AI) agent workflows, and for centralized access governance across distributed teams.
