NCSC-2026-0369 [1.00] [M/H] Kwetsbaarheid verholpen in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS

Palo Alto Networks patched a buffer overflow vulnerability in PAN-OS XML processing affecting VM-Series and PA-Series firewalls, as well as Panorama management software. Unauthenticated network attackers can trigger denial of service on VM-Series or achieve remote code execution (RCE) with root privileges on PA-Series and Panorama. The flaw stems from improper XML input handling that corrupts memory and risks full system compromise.

Why it matters: Organizations running PAN-OS firewalls and Panorama need to patch immediately, as unauthenticated attackers on the network can crash firewalls or gain complete control.
