More CVEs than ever. The same old ones keep getting exploited.
Vulnerability disclosure volume continues to rise, but the vast majority of exploited flaws are older vulnerabilities for which patches already exist. Organizations remain behind on remediation despite the availability of fixes.
Why it matters: Security teams managing patch prioritization should focus enforcement on the established CVEs that adversaries actively target rather than racing to patch every new disclosure.
